Sorry about the recent netflix-style delay.

I have been spending my time preparing for an upcoming trip to Italy. Who knew that trying to get a debit card with low currency conversion fees could be such a pain?

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know about the upcoming abundance of Italy-related articles and probably a few more Italy-caused delays.

I’m looking into medical tourism a bit for an upcoming article. If any of you wonderful people have a cool international medicine story you would like to tell, I would love to hear it.

You know…remember that time you got your arm replaced with a mechanical lift? Never again did you have to slide the couch when reorganizeing the den. Now you pick it the fuck up. That’s just how you roll.

Cracked has a funny article on various hand gestures that can get you in trouble in non-euro-north-american parts of the world. The thumbs up in the middle east and the OK sign in Brazil are classics (that I had kind of forgotten about until I read the article). The others on the list are still interesting, but less cool. They even sprung a different definition of the word “gesture” on us with “Give an even number of flowers in Russia.”

Yep, I have delved into the world of travel-themed comics. It was sort of cool. Some people liked it.
